The LS6800 is single needle lock stitch sewing machine, use 6 times big rotary hook, highly reduce the bobbin changing time and increase working efficiency. It is developed from GSC367 series sewing machine, specially designed for FIBC sewing, can be used for sewing FIBC loop zigzag sewing, FIBC body sewing, FIBC top and bottom sewing. For some customer just use this one machine can produce a whole big bag.

What is a lock stitch? How is it different from a chain stitch?
The lock stitch is formed by the overlock thread and the base thread interweaving in the middle of the material. Its main advantages are that it is less likely to come loose and is strong and tight; even if there is a break at some point, the entire stitch will not disintegrate like a chain stitch when pulled, and it is very suitable for reinforcing the key stressed areas of FIBCs. Lock stitch must use bobbin for bottom threads, change bobbin will affect working efficiency, this is why we choose bigger size bobbin to reduce the changing time.
Why use single needle instead of double needle?
The single-needle lock-stitch sewing machine LS6800 offers greater sewing flexibility and is suitable for processes with complex techniques, frequent turns, and precise positioning.
Can ordinary industrial sewing machines be used to sew FIBCs?
Absolutely not. The FIBCs are made of high-density polypropylene woven fabric and thick straps. Ordinary sewing machines cannot penetrate the extremely thick materials, and because they cannot withstand the tension of thick threads, they are prone to jamming, thread breakage, needle rod deformation or mechanical damage.
What is Top & Bottom Feed?
The surface of the FIBCs is smooth and prone to slipping. The synchronized feeding means that the upper pressing foot and the lower gear simultaneously transport the material backward. This ensures that when sewing multi-layer thick materials or sewing leak-proof strips, the material will not shift or wrinkle.
Why do connection disconnections occur frequently?
Excessive tension of the thread: For heavy materials, the tension should be increased, but if it is too high, it will cause frequent breaks.
Overheating and Disconnection: When the machine needle rapidly pierces the dense PP fabric, it generates high heat, which directly melts the synthetic fiber sewing thread. Consider installing a machine needle cooling device.
The shuttle/loom bed has burrs: Long-term friction with thick threads may cause damage to the shuttle tip or the edge of the needle plate hole, resulting in the breakage of the thread end.
Why do stitches frequently come loose or break?
Broken needle: The needle size selected is too small or the needle rod positioning has shifted; forcibly pushing or pulling the bag body at extremely thick sections causes the needle to bend and deform.
Jumping needles: The synchronization of feeding time has been disrupted; or the machine needles have become blunt and are unable to smoothly penetrate the thickened strap.
How to extend the service life of the shuttle head?
The sewing machine for FIBCs usually uses 6-times larger rotary shuttles to increase the thread capacity of the bottom line and reduce the frequency of changing shuttle cores. Due to the fact that PP fabric generates a large amount of fiber lint, the shuttle bed must be cleaned with an air gun before the end of each workday, and special heavy-duty lubricating oil must be added at regular intervals.
