What is a Q-type bulk bag and why do we need a special sewing machine for it?

The Q-type bag is a type of anti-expansion FIBCs. By sewing internal baffles at the four corners, it ensures that the FIBCs remains square or rectangular after being filled and will not bulge outward. Since the baffles are hidden inside the bag, when sewing, a large area of PP woven fabric needs to be passed through the lower part of the machine head. Ordinary sewing machines do not have sufficient space for this and therefore, a special sewing machine with a large operating space is required.

What are the differences between chain stitch and lock stitch? Which one is better?

Chain stitch: It is formed by the interlocking of needle threads and curved thread loops. There is no need to frequently change the bottom thread. It is suitable for long-distance continuous sewing, with extremely high production efficiency, and the stitch has certain elasticity, making it less prone to unraveling.

Lock stitch: It has a shuttle core bottom line, with limited capacity for the bottom line and requires frequent machine stops to change the shuttle core. However, it has slightly better anti-loose-mouth performance. For Q-bag reinforced sewing, a more efficient chain-type sewing machine is usually the preferred choice.

Which core parameters should be given priority attention when making a purchase?

Choose right sewing machine for right place sewing. Some machine we have special design for different parts sewing, like FIBC baffle, loop, spout, body etc. Compare with the sewing machine working space, sewing thickness, speed, stitch length, using threads etc, to choose the right machine.

What is the leak-proof sewing (Filler Cord Guide) function?

The sewing machine is equipped with an upper and lower leak-proof guide rope device. During sewing, the leak-proof cotton rope is pressed into the gap created by the needle puncture along with the sewing thread, serving to seal the needle hole and prevent leakage when loading fine powders into the FIBCs.

What is the purpose of the pneumatic automatic wire cutting device ?

This model is usually equipped with an pneumatic automatic wire cutting device. It can automatically cut off the high-strength PP sewing thread or chain thread at the end of the sewing process, eliminating the need for manual thread cutting. Moreover, the heat-melted cutters can prevent the thread ends from unraveling.

Why do stitches frequently come loose?

Wiring errors, deviation between the curved needle and the machine needle, bending or wear of the machine needle

Why do connection disconnections occur so frequently?

There are burrs at the threading holes or needle eyes, causing the stitches to break.

The needle temperature is too high.

The quality of the stitches is poor. It is recommended to use special FIBCs with high-strength polyester filament threads or woven threads.
